Does Wren replace a fleet manager or workshop supervisor?+
No. Wren keeps bounded records work current from your asset list, documents and templates. Your team decides what gets booked, what gets repaired and what stays on the road.
Can Wren decide a vehicle or item of plant is safe to operate?+
No. Wren can list the records supplied by qualified people and flag what is missing or expired. Roadworthiness, defect severity and fitness-for-service decisions stay with competent people in your business.
Can Wren book servicing or commit money on its own?+
No. Servicing, inspection and repair bookings are drafted against the suppliers you have chosen and stay in draft until your named approver releases them.
Who handles an infringement or a driver licence problem?+
You do. Wren matches the notice to the vehicle, date and rostered driver and prepares the record. Nomination, disciplinary and employment decisions are yours.
Does the load audit need registration certificates or driver licences?+
No. Start with blank templates, a redacted asset list and one month of volumes with registration numbers, driver names, licence data and credentials removed.
Will Wren work inside our fleet or maintenance software?+
Only after access and write boundaries are tested. Wren starts deliverable-first from approved exports, a shared inbox and your templates. Any system write requires a separately approved scope and test set.
What result do we measure?+
Track due dates met before expiry, bookings approved before your cut-off, defects closed with linked evidence, records chased and items escalated to a named human.
How is Wren different from your equipment hire worker, Piper?+
Piper handles a hire operator's desk for equipment rented out to customers: enquiries, booking packs, movements and returns. Wren keeps the records for the assets you own: renewals, inspections, servicing, defects and licence currency.
What does Wren do beyond fleet software?+
Fleet software stores due dates. Wren does the work around them: chasing the service report that never arrived, keeping the defect register current, matching infringements to a rostered driver and assembling the record pack an insurer or auditor asks for.
